NBP Funds is hiring a Head of Equity at its Karachi head office to lead the equity investment function. This is the senior seat among current NBP Funds Jobs: research, analysis and portfolio management for all equity funds and mandates across the multi asset platform.
The mandate is broad. Build and execute equity investment strategy against business objectives and market outlook, manage portfolios with sector and stock selection driven by research, and lead the equity research and portfolio management teams. Investment opportunities come from macroeconomic analysis and industry intelligence, and portfolio risk gets monitored and rebalanced to stay on target risk return profiles.
You work alongside the CIO Equity and senior management on asset allocation and new product ideas, keep every investment activity compliant with SECP regulations and internal policy, and represent the firm in Investment Committee meetings and with clients. Ten or more years in equity research and fund or portfolio management is expected, with an MBA or CFA, CA or ACCA highly preferred. This Head of Equity Karachi role is open now.

- 10+ years in equity research and fund or portfolio management
- Strong performance track record in equity investing
- Proven stock selection, sector analysis and portfolio construction experience
- Master’s degree (MBA) or professional qualification such as CFA, CA or ACCA highly preferred
- Sound understanding of SECP regulations and investment governance requirements
- Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills
