Ibex Jobs Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 3 to 5+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting
- Strong hands-on SQL and real comfort querying large datasets
- Solid experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse
- Advanced Excel: complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and analysis
- Hands-on Power Query for pulling, shaping, and automating data
- Strong dashboard work in Tableau and/or Power BI
- A track record of automating manual reporting and data prep
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
- Sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication
Nice to have: experience with financial services, banking, or credit datasets; advanced SQL and Snowflake tuning; VBA or Python scripting; and APIs, SFTP, or cloud data integration.
Job Description
- Pull, transform, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources for business and portfolio reporting
- Build recurring and ad hoc reports that show clearly how the business, customers, and portfolio are performing
- Run deep dives to surface trends, anomalies, and issues before they become problems
- Turn business questions into reporting logic, metrics, and usable insight
- Write reusable, optimized SQL and work across Snowflake schemas to analyze large-scale data
- Reconcile data across source systems and investigate anything that doesn’t line up
- Design and maintain interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards for business and management
- Use advanced Excel and Power Query to model, reconcile, and standardize data
- Find manual reporting that can be automated and build workflows that cut the effort down
- Run data profiling and quality checks, and document sources, transformations, and definitions
- Work with business, tech, data engineering, finance, and risk teams to gather and deliver on requirements
