Indigo Textiles is hiring an AGM or DGM for Product Development & Marketing at its denim fabric mill in Port Qasim. The role supports the GM Marketing & Product Development, and the brief is commercial as much as technical: develop denim fabrics that customers actually buy.
You will develop new denim fabrics, constructions and finishes against market and customer requirements, and coordinate with R&D, Weaving, Dyeing, Finishing, Production and Quality to get them commercialised. Global denim trends, customer preferences, sustainability and competitor moves all feed the pipeline. Fabric sampling, trials, testing, approvals and seasonal collections sit with you, along with customer presentations, fabric selections and product launches.
Ten or more years in denim fabric product development, marketing, merchandising or R&D inside a textile or fabric mill is required, with a bachelor’s in Textile Engineering, Textile or Fashion Design, Marketing or a related field. Indigo Textiles Jobs Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile or Fashion Design, Marketing or a related field, with a master’s or relevant professional qualification an added advantage
- 10+ years of relevant experience in denim fabric product development, marketing, merchandising or R&D within a textile or fabric mill
- Strong knowledge of denim fabric construction, weaving, dyeing and finishing
- Good understanding of global denim trends, innovation and sustainability
- Strong commercial acumen and market orientation
- Experience with international brands, customers or denim garment manufacturers is preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple developments and deliver within timelines
Job Description
- Develop new denim fabrics, constructions and finishes in line with market and customer requirements

- Provide technical and commercial input on fabric quality, performance, specifications and manufacturing feasibility
- Support the GM in expanding the product portfolio and identifying new market and business opportunities
